While we’ve been in the city of Redding for over 120 years, the primary goal of First Baptist has always been the same–to bring glory to God. We continue to build upon the foundation that was laid two thousand years ago when Jesus Christ offered His life on the cross so that the world could be reunited with God. Because of His amazing gift, we are spurred on to:
- Learn to daily abide in Christ
- Praise the God who created the world and all that is in it
- Study God’s inerrant Word, the Bible
- Pray without ceasing
- Love the Lord God with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength and love our neighbor as ourselves.
We welcome all within our doors who are looking for answers in a world that boldly proclaims that there are no absolutes and truth is relative.
Our desire is to help you find Truth to the questions you’ve been pondering: Why am I here? What is my purpose? Is there a God? Does He see me?
